Building Enclosure Consultant

Position: Building Enclosure Consultant
Location: Houston, Texas

Position Type: Full-Time

Are you looking for a technical consulting position that allows you to spread your wings and provide opinions and advice on interesting and challenging projects?  As a Senior Building Enclosure Consultant at Apollo BBC you will be tasked with managing multiple concurrent projects, coordinating with team members to investigate and analyze an array of building problems, produce recommendations for repair, and clearly communicate issues and options through direct client interaction, written reports, and design documents.

We’re seeking an experience and motivated Senior Building Enclosure Consultant to join our Houston team. Our engineering and architectural consulting firm combines multiple disciplines and focuses on investigating, repairing, and avoiding performance problems with commercial buildings.

Qualified candidates will have experience working in a project based consulting company, managing their own list of clients, and making a difference. You will have a technical familiarity with building enclosure systems, materials, and specifications, an understanding of diagnostic testing methods.  Some business related travel is a requirement of the position.

We’re different than typical enclosure consulting firms – our consultants wear multiple hats, work collaboratively within a team, and formulate creative solutions to complex building problems. Qualifications
5+ years of client-facing, professional experience
MS Civil Engineering, MS Architectural Engineering, MArch, or BS Mechanical Engineering
Professional Engineer or Registered Architect or be in the process of licensure
Knowledge of building enclosure systems and HVAC concepts
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Strong project management skills
